Today, I am going to share with you five verses from the Bible about being thankful. Let’s get started!
Just so you all know, all of these verses are found in the New International Version (NIV) Bible.
Psalm 106:1
Praise the Lord. Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.
Psalm 107:21
Let them give thanks to the Lord for his unfailing love and his wonderful deeds for mankind.

Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe,
Okay, I originally wasn’t going to comment on these verses, but this one really just spoke to me and I had to share with you! I love how the verse says that we are receiving a kingdom that “cannot be shaken.” To me, that is just so cool. No one can shake God’s kingdom; no one can defeat Him; no one can mess up what He is planning. And, if we put our trust in God, we get to inherit that unshakeable kingdom! That truly is a reason to give thanks!
1 Chronicles 16:8
Give praise to the Lord, proclaim his name; make known among the nations what he has done.
Psalm 86:12
I will praise you, Lord my God, with all my heart; I will glorify your name forever.
