It can be hard to serve a God who is absolutely perfect when we dwell on the fact that we, as sinful humans, mess up daily. Thankfully, one of the most powerful gifts of Christianity is the concept of God’s forgiveness. Through His mercy and grace, we can find freedom from our past mistakes and experience God’s true and perfect peace! - “If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.” – 1 John 1:9
- “But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us.” – Romans 5:8

God’s grace is mindblowing!
It always amazes me to think that God can forgive me…It doesn’t make sense! Why would a perfect God, and I mean perfect, not only forgive a horrible sinner like me but send his only Son to die for me? And guess what? He does the same for you! Doesn’t it feel like we should be doing something to earn this gift? Like we have to work and work for God’s forgiveness? Well, the beautiful truth of it is that…We don’t!
As much as we can try, there is, and will never be, anything good enough that we can do to deserve God’s gift of forgiveness. The amazing thing is, all God asks us to do is acknowledge that we are sinners, repent, and accept His incredible gift of forgiveness and eternal life in Heaven!
These 10 verses can help remind us that God knows that we sin, and yet He still loves and forgives us! Today, you can rest in the knowledge that you are forgiven by your Creator. All of your sins, past, present, and future, no longer matter or count against you because of the love and grace of your Heavenly Father! Read that again, if you need to…It’s mindblowing!
