Now, what you’ve all been waiting for… My resin hair clips are officially up for sale on Etsy! I’m so excited! This post is what I like to call a “product feature”, where I take one of the products that I sell and do a special blog post about it, letting you know the story behind it, why it is special, etc.

The story behind my resin hair clips!
I started working with resin a bit before the start of 2023, and it has already been a huge success! My first resin items up on Etsy were a few pairs of resin earrings, which I sold a few of around Valentine’s Day. After around maybe four months of using resin to make only earrings, I started to get bored. I needed something else to make and decided that it would be fun to try to make hair clips, which I had never tried before.

I ordered some hair clip molds from Amazon and started experimenting! My first few pairs were made with glitter and mica powder, but I decided to experiment even further: I used alcohol ink! My first pair of clips made with alcohol ink turned out amazing! They ended up being my “ocean breeze” color option that is for sale right now!
The first few days I wore my clips out in public, I remember getting so many compliments on them, along with several people asking if they are for sale. So, after trying (and loving) several more color combinations, I decided that it was high time I put my new creations up on Etsy!
And here we are!
These resin hair clips are so special to me! Not only because they are so fun to make, but also because in the past, I have only made jewelry. These clips are my first time branching out, and that makes me proud!
