Have you ever wondered what God says about you? I have, and it is not what you might expect. Having a perfect, THE perfect, God loving us and looking out for us may seem intimidating at first. I mean, what could a perfect God have to say about me, who is so flawed and in desperate need of forgiveness? That I am a sinner? A failure?
Thankfully, God sees us as nothing of the sort! No matter our flaws (and God know every one of them!) He still loves us more than we can imagine and He calls us by name to be His! Let’s take a look at some of the names that God calls us and verses that verses that goes with them!

God says that you are… Created in His Image
So God created mankind in his own image, in the image of God he created them; male and female he created them. -Genesis 1:27 NIV
For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do. -Ephesians 2:10 NIV
And we all, who with unveiled faces contemplate the Lord’s glory, are being transformed into his image with ever-increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit. -2 Corinthians 3:18 NIV
Loved
But God demonstrates his own love for us in this: While we were still sinners, Christ died for us. -Romans 5:8 NIV
For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. -John 3:16 NIV
Though the mountains be shaken and the hills be removed, yet my unfailing love for you will not be shaken nor my covenant of peace be removed says the Lord, who has compassion on you. -Isaiah 54:10 NIV
Forgiven
Therefore, there is now no condemnation for those who are in Christ Jesus, because through Christ Jesus the law of the Spirit who gives life has set you free from the law of sin and death. -Romans 8:1-2 NIV

Special

Beautiful

Created for a purpose

Family

See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. -1 John 3:1 NIV
You are mine!

See? God sees us as so much more than just sinful or imperfect. To Him, we are so much more and He he has covered all of our sins with his unconditional love and grace! We don’t have to see ourselves the way the world may see us, by our looks, status, etc., but we should see ourselves the way that God sees us!
